13A: Reading Reflection No. 1
Book Review 📖
- What really surprised me the most about the book was how committed the protagonist was to becoming an entrepreneur and how he learned so much from his experiences throughout the book. I admired the entrepreneurs innovated attitude the most I could really feel his thought process out. I disliked how detached the entrepreneur became from non-entrepreneurial ideals later on in the book. At first it seemed as though the entrepreneur failed to capture his market, but in general it was a success since he kept working at it.
- The entrepreneur was competent at many things, some of those things he really honed over the course of the book. His competencies were his speaking skills and his ideation.
- One of the more confusing parts of the book was how bad the author was at conveying the sense of urgency that an entrepreneur goes through when tailoring their product to an adapting marketplace, just a bad author in general.
- I'd ask the entrepreneur if they liked being an entrepreneur and if they could do something better with their life why would the be an engineer.
- His opinion was centered around a can do attitude and the falls in line with mine too; he's like the little engine that could my dog.
Wow, it is too bad the author was bad, in your opinion. Regardless, it seems like you learned some useful tips and some potentially important behaviors one should have while pursing their entrepreneurial endeavors. Depending on what you plan to do and what business you would want to make, it could be a good idea to read a book by a successful and already established entrepreneur in that field.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to know how this entrepreneur was able to learn from his experiences and has the speaking skills needed because I feel that an entrepreneur needs to have these skills in order to be successful. Also, as a side note I am a bit confused because you don’t exactly mention which entrepreneur you read about or the book you read either.
ReplyDeleteCommunication skills is definately one of the most important skills to have as an entrepreneur. Without those skills, an entrepreneur won't be able to market the product or idea that they are trying to sell. Entrepreneurs also need to learn from past experiences in order to provide the best product to their audience and possible customers.
